Description:

Part-time support staff replacement position

Responsibilities:

We require a qualified individual to provide part-time support for the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Office.

• Provide front-line customer service responding to inquiries from in person, telephone and e-mail clients

• Data entry and document handling (OSAP Signature pages & supporting documents, Continuation of Interest Free status, Bursary Recording System, Document Tracking)

• Filing, scanning & uploading

• General administrative support to the Financial Aid Office

• Assist department staff to improve client satisfaction with service levels by working to minimize wait and/or response times

• In conjunction with department staff, enhance document flow to improve processing times for OSAP, awards, scholarships and bursaries


Qualifications:

• One year certificate in business or office administration

• One year of experience preferably in a busy office environment

• Excellent MS Office computer skills are required

• Experience using databases (i.e. Student Information System (SIS) and OSAP AS/400) is an asset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated customer service and conflict resolution skills
