Academic Part-time Position

Responsibilities:

Qualified individuals are required to develop curriculum for the Health Care Administration & Service Management program for courses starting in May 2019. Areas of development include the following:

1. Strategic Communications for the Health Care Professional

  • Course focus is on advanced strategies and application of communication techniques to support strategic and operational success in health care settings

2. Employee and Labour Relations

  • The legal, political, social, economic, and ethical management of health care professionals (including union and non-unionized environments)

3. Leadership in Health Care

  • Explore theories an practices of effective health care leadership
  • Research and resolve organizational challenges

Curriculum development work to be completed by April 15, 2019.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated work experience in a health care management role
  • Experience related to topic areas as well as academic experience is an asset
  • Previous teaching experience in at the post-secondary level is an asset
